4-0 to the Arsenal. Two goals by Thomas Vermaelen made him top scorer for Arsenal! And a flick by Eboue and a last minute goal by Fabregas. THAT beautiful curler by Vermaelen was the goal of the match by me! Vito Mannone manages to keep Arsenal's first clean sheet of the season.

The Greatest Story Ever Told!

This is a story that will be forever told in Silverines' folklore for the next 200 years or so and this could defeat the tales of Cruyff, Eusebio, Pele,Bergkamp and the rest. Here it is:

One day, The Silverines played against SUFC. Our best played but not all. They were Fikri, Aslin , Jason, Matyn, Zainul, Syazmuie, Safiuddin,Malik and Farhan. Compared to the other team, we were good technically but physically we sucked. It started badly for us we were 4-1 down but we fought back to get 4-4. After that I went disastrous. We left open spaces in defence and they beat us in the air. Half time. Score was horribly bad. Syazmuie left. No keeper. Solution: Zainul. The crazy guy became the crazy 'keeper. He came on and started singing Thriller and the H1N1 song. The SUFC players started to lose their concentration it seemed his plan worked. His long throws split the SUFC defence and he made one-on-one situations. The Silverines also got their confidence up even with the absence of their best. Tricks and flicks did the right trick. Even though he conceded 3 goals it was regarded as a great performance.

Gegar! Gegar! DPMM FC! Hey! Hey!

The best DPMM game I have watched so far! DPMM FC 2-1 Albirex Niigata. Even though the crowd wasn't big as the SAF game, this match deserves the great atmosphere award. First half, it was quite bad for us. Ref was quite biased to the other team. Their goal was offside! Three men in offside positions!I was quite angry at the ref. At one point, I think Vjeran Simunic shouted " Where the hell did the ball go?!". When the half time whistle went off, Simunic headed straight at the referee to drop on him a bomb. The Albirex players got booed. Half time.. Had a chat with Ddog Yi ..thanked him. Second half ...possibly the best half I've experienced. Abu Bakar went in for Shahrazen and Hardi went in for Azwan. From that moment on, DPMM got their confidence up with Abu Bakar's speedy running. Quarter of an hour before the end, Subhi shot a volley which went in after hitting the underside of the crossbar making the crowd go into wild celebrations. Now, DPMM piled on the pressure and then Jerkovic marked his return with a low shot which ended up in the bottom corner. Now, the stadium erupted in ecstatic celebration. It appeared that everybody was on their feet!

P.S Oh Ddog Yi released by the club. Drazen Govic, a midfielder from a First Division Crotian club is expected to sign.

Happiness and sadness

I would like to thank everyone for your condolences and support.My dad was a great man, many people said that. This weekend kinda sad 'cause it will be Father's day and my dad would not be here :(.....

Happy news: DPMM have won the League Cup!!!! Wardun and Rene put a great performance last night. I was very impressed with DPMM weathering the storm. Early this afternoon, I met the players when they arrived just now. I shook hands with Komar, Abu Bakar, Wardun , Hamid, Shahrazen, Hardi plus my cousin got scared by Hamid.

Funniest time durin' CCA! I played as a defender and all Amir, Syafiq Adli and Adib were doing was that we were just standing there like troops and block the shots. We only conceded 2 goals and both were when the defenders went up fron a bit! 3-1 to Man U. Absolutely shocking. I'm quite down right now but I believe Arsenal have the potential but haven't haven't fulfilled it yet. Good luck next season.

SAFFC sunk in front of 15,000 fans.

That's right, 2-1 early goals in each half for DPMM FC. SAF FC free kick screamer couldn't save them. The best out of 2 DPMM matches I have attended. It was an awesome experience especially in the $5 section. The drums just make it better and better. Pg. Sallehuddin was sent off. Great matchup. It took one final save from Wardun Yussof just to get the fans erupting in happiness. Fely sorry for SAF FC no.7 got booed everytime he got the ball.Arsenal vs Man Utd Wednesday night 2.30 am
